Managing Partner of Mission Peak Capital - Credit Strategies

Wit Solberg

Prior to founding Mission Peak Capital in 2008, Mr. Solberg ran the syndicate desk for commercial real estate debt products at Deutsche Bank in Asia. Based in Hong Kong, he structured and sold transactions throughout Asia including deals in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, and Indonesia, among others. Before joining Deutsche Bank, Mr. Solberg worked for Fitch Ratings, both in the New York Mortgage Securities group and, later, as the Agency's Head of Asia Pacific Structured Debt. In that capacity, he evaluated and chaired a committee scoring all iterations of securitized credit products. Mr. Solberg has over 25 years of experience in all facets of investment real estate including debt and equity investments, joint ventures, property redevelopment, distressed debt, loan workouts, bond portfolio acquisitions and asset management. Mr. Solberg is a licensed Series 65 Investment Adviser Representative. Mr. Solberg holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, and a BA in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.

Chris Dunn

Chris Dunn is a full partner in Mission Peak Capital. Prior to joining Mission Peak Capital, he spent over 10 years at Deutsche Bank in various roles in New York, London, and Hong Kong. Most recently, Mr. Dunn was a Managing Director and Head of Structured Finance in the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Group based in New York. Other roles include Head of CRE Lending for EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) and Co-Head of CRE in Asia (ex Japan). Before joining Deutsche Bank, Mr. Dunn was a Principal in the Real Estate Finance Group at Banc of America Securities. Prior to joining Banc of America Securities, Mr. Dunn was a Director in the Structured Finance Group at Standard & Poor's and was responsible for rating all types of commercial mortgage backed securities.

Jered Nussbaum

Mr. Nussbaum joined Mission Peak Capital in 2020 with more than 10 years of senior leadership experience in both private equity and operating companies. Previously, Mr. Nussbaum was the Managing Principal of Rally Point Capital, a family office in Leawood, Kansas. Mr. Nussbaum was also the Managing Director at Spectrum Business Ventures, a private equity group based in Kansas City, Missouri, which owned over 5,000 multi-family units across the United States. After receiving his MBA, Mr. Nussbaum was a Director for AT&T in their Corporate Development Group executing over $3 billion of transactions. Mr. Nussbaum holds a Bachelor of Science from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from the University of Texas in Austin.

Rebecca Hill, CPA

Ms. Hill is Chief Financial Officer for Mission Peak Capital and has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience. Prior to joining Mission Peak Capital, Ms. Hill served as CFO of two Berkshire Hathaway entities where she was responsible for both entity’s annual audits, all forecasting and budgeting, and both corporate risk programs. In previous roles Ms. Hill has built property management teams, completed multiple system conversions, implemented over $90MM debt restructures, managing financial and TIF compliances as well as managed banking, insurance and family office relationships. Ms. Hill holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of St. Mary, an MBA from the University of Kansas, is a Certified Public Accountant and is a current member of the Metro Chapter of CPAs and the Kansas Society of CPAs.
Managing Director - Transactions and Acquisitions

Benton Glaze

Mr. Glaze is responsible for the firm’s investments in commercial real estate and related debt, primarily through its acquisition and ownership of controlling class positions in commercial mortgage-backed securities, distressed and defaulted loans, and fee simple real estate. In his role with the firm, Mr. Glaze has been involved with the work-out and resolution of defaulted and distressed CRE mortgages including retail shopping centers in tertiary markets, substantial portfolios of office buildings in secondary markets, and sprawling multifamily complexes in primary / core markets. Mr. Glaze has also provided loan modification advisory services to the sponsors and lenders of defaulted CRE mortgages with a combined original principal balance of over $1.0 billion. Previously, Mr. Glaze worked extensively with Mission Peak Capital’s regional and community banking clients, in both valuing their mortgage portfolios and creating targeted disposition strategies. Previously, Mr. Glaze worked for Jones Lang LaSalle and The Staubach Company.
Chief Investment Officer

David Larson, CFA

David Larson serves as MPC’s Chief Investment Officer and has been with the firm since 2010. Mr. Larson is responsible supervising the firm’s real estate transaction underwriting, capital decisions, and securities purchases as well as MPC’s broader investment direction. In his role with the firm, Mr. Larson has been responsible for the underwriting of $3.0 billion worth of commercial real estate and CRE loans as well advising the firm’s third party clients on the analysis, valuation, and purchase/sale of $1.0+ billion of structured financial products including: CMBS, RMBS, CDOs, and CLOs.
Mr. Larson is a CFA charterholder and licensed Series 65 Investment Adviser Representative. Mr. Larson holds a BS in Finance & Accounting from the University of Kansas.
Managing Director - Real Estate and Valuations

P.J. Ventola, MAI

Mr. Ventola is the Managing Director of MPC’s Real Estate Investments and Valuations and joined the firm in 2016. In previous roles with the company, Mr. Ventola has been responsible the underwriting of $1.0 billion worth of commercial real estate loans involving a wide-ranging property types for the firm’s third party clients Mr. Ventola was previously with CBRE as an appraiser where he performed valuations totaling over $4.0 billion in real estate involving a wide ranging property types. Mr. Ventola has previously worked for Midland Loan Services and GMAC-RFC. Mr. Ventola is a Member of the Appraisal Institute, a Certified General Appraiser for Missouri and Kansas and a licensed real estate salesperson from Missouri and Kansas. Mr. Ventola holds a BS in Business from the University of Kansas and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.

Managing Director, Mount Street US

Kristin Bonczynski

Ms. Bonczynski is the Managing Director for Mount Street. In past roles, Ms. Bonczynski managed an underwriter team responsible for underwriting all CMBS and municipal bonds for Mission Peak Capital. Prior to joining Mission Peak Capital, Mrs. Bonczynski lead an asset management team for Midland Loan Services in the Special Servicing Department. She was responsible for managing a portfolio of non-performing loans collateralized by all property types across the United States. She also lead the due diligence team for all commercial real estate backed assets to be included into new securitizations for Midland’s clients. She holds a BA in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Northern Iowa.

Paul Lloyd

Mr. Lloyd has a 26 year career in servicing of European debt products, including corporate loans, CRE loans, export credits, CDOs, CLOs, and numerous other structured credit products. In 1997, Paul launced Morgan Stanley Mortgage Servicing, then Europe's first CMBS servicer and grew MSMS to £10bn in CRE loans and bonds by 2005. In 2005, Paul founded Deutsche Bank's CMBS Servicing & Special Servicing platforms, and grew those to €20bn of CRE debt across 14 jurisdictions by 2009. From 2009 to 2012, Paul was European Head of Servicing at CBRE managing c. £12bn of loans and c. 2,000 properties.
