The Mission Peak Capital team consists of individuals with the following backgrounds:
- RMBS, CMBS, CDO, ABS and whole loan modeling, credit and research experience as structuring experts, originators, and as buy-side and rating agency analysts.
- CPAs and CFAs with experience as executive management that has successfully developed and implemented turnaround strategies for regional, national and multinational institutions.
- Auditing S&L and Insurance Companies in the late 1980's-early 1990s with Big 8 Auditing Firms.
- Technology and Data experts experienced in procuring granular data from Trustee and Servicer websites and feeds, and reviewing RMBS and CMBS servicer performance.
- Correspondent Community Bankers familiar with specific needs and relationships of the community and regional banker.
- Team Members have worked for, in a variety of capacities at the following institutions achieving relevant experience during this time period, both domestically and globally: PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Arthur Young, Freddie Mac, Fitch Ratings, Deutsche Bank, Bank of America, UMB Bank and Macquarie Group among others.
PRINCIPALS
Wit Solberg
Wit was previously a Director with Deutsche Bank, AG (Hong Kong) serving as the bank's head of syndication and distribution for real estate debt in Asia. His team structured and sold mezzanine and senior debt positions to Asia-based funds and banks. Previously he was a Senior Director and head of structured finance-Asia for Fitch Ratings, managing a team that provided credit ratings and surveillance for ABS, RMBS, CMBS and CDO transactions (Hong Kong and Tokyo). Prior to moving to Asia, Wit was with Fitch's CMBS group in New York rating new issue transactions and authoring research on numerous types of structured finance products. He also worked for Midland Loan Services and PNC Bank in Kansas City, MO and Washington, DC in both loan servicing and loan origination. Wit holds a BA in Economics from Washington University, St. Louis and an MBA from Columbia Business School.Seth K. Grossman
Seth was previously a Vice President at Meridian Capital Group LLC. He was a member of the Capital Markets team and responsible for negotiating, placing and closing all types of debt transactions including first and second mortgages, mezzanine loans and whole loan sales. Seth closed over $3 billion of debt working with an array of financial institutions such as commercial conduit banks, investment banks, savings banks, life insurance companies, hedge funds, opportunity funds, and pension funds. Prior to joining Meridian he worked at Fitch Ratings where he focused on new issue structured finance. Seth holds a BS in Finance and Management from the NYU Stern School of Business.Jimmy Eyerman, Certified Public Accountant
Jimmy was previously Vice President of Finance for Bausch & Lomb, a multi-billion dollar global ophthalmic healthcare company. From 2008 through 2009, Jimmy was the head of finance for the Global Vision Care business based in Rochester, NY. Previously, he served as Head of Finance for the Company's Asia business based in Hong Kong, and before that was head of the Company's Internal Audit function. Jimmy's responsibilities included managing and overseeing all aspects of these finance organizations, including risk management, accounting, reporting and internal controls including implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley for the company, financial planning and forecasting, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and profitability optimization. Prior to Bausch & Lomb, Jimmy spent 13 years with Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Audit and Business Advisory Services professional, and his clients spanned many industries including financial services and the technology sectors. Jimmy is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BS in accounting from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina.
